When Bush played a few rounds of golf, the liberal media slaughtered him for being disconnected, so he stopped playing. But it is okay with Obama. After all, the only thing preventing him from doing a good job is those mean, racist Republicans.

So what different does it make between these two political parties when they are working exactly the same way?

Stunning Photos Of U.S. Service Members Publicly Saying No To War With Syria

What do members of the U.S. military think about the possibility of a war with Syria? So far, they appear to be overwhelmingly against it just like the rest of the general public. In fact, a new Twitter hashtag (#IdidntJoin) has been flooded with messages from service members expressing their displeasure with the idea of being forced to fight for al-Qaeda in Syria. This is consistent with what we have been hearing from other sources as well. For example, U.S. Representative Justin Amash recently sent out a tweet with the following message: “I’ve been hearing a lot from members of our Armed Forces. The message I consistently hear: Please vote no on military action against #Syria.” Of course there are probably a few members of the military that would love a war with Syria, but they appear to be very much in the minority. Hopefully the Obama administration and members of the U.S. Congress are listening. Posted below are photos taken from Twitter of American service members publicly declaring that they do not want war with Syria. In these photos they are wearing their uniforms, but they are obscuring their faces because they could potentially get in a lot of trouble for publicly defying the Obama administration.

I saw the images of the service men holding signs earlier today. I don't blame them. Who in their right mind would ever consider risking their lives to save people who have vowed to kill us?

The world needs to stay out of this. The best solution is to simply let them kill each other.

The USA should not be the policemen of the world.

I'd like to know what is really behind Obama's push to slap Syria. All that I know for certain is the answer is not what he is telling us.

Today, the leader of the United Nations said that any military action we would take without an imminent threat to the USA or the approval of the UN Security Council would be illegal. Under the USA War Powers Act, the president can only order military action with out the approval of Congress if there is an imminent threat to the USA. I just watched John Kerry say that Obummer does have the authority to order a strike even if Congress does not support him. I would simply like to know what the perceived imminent threat is. No one in the Obummer White House has offered any explanation.

I guess it is getting worse because we are in the same scenario than Iraq.

John Kerry Stumbles In Ruling Out 'Boots On The Ground' In Syria

Secretary of State John Kerry at first refused to rule out the possibility of "boots on the ground" in Syria in a response to a question from Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) in a congressional hearing Tuesday -- only to shut the door minutes later in a follow-up question. In the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing over proposed U.S. intervention in Syria's civil war, Kerry pointed to the possibility that a cache of chemical weapons could fall into the hands of a terrorist group to make the case for military action.

"I don't want to take off the table an option that might or might not be available to a president of the United States to secure our country," he said.
Menendez asked whether that meant the U.S. could send combat troops, and Kerry stumbled for an answer. "Well, assuming in going to protect those weapons, whether or not they had to answer a shot in order to be secure, I don't want to speak to that," he said.
Trying to recover, Kerry gave the "bottom line": "I'm absolutely confident, Mr. Chairman, that it is easy, not that complicated, to work out language that will satisfy the Congress and the American people that there's no door open here through which someone can march in ways that the Congress doesn't want it to while still protecting the national security interests of the country."
The meandering answer instantly gave fodder to critics who charged that the proposal to strike Syria in response to its use of chemical weapons is merely a ruse for a more protracted war. Kerry is known for his waffling answers, and he did not help himself in Tuesday's hearing.

What To Expect During The Next Stage Of Collapse

For years now at Alt-Market (and Neithercorp.us) I have carefully outlined the most likely path of collapse to take place within the U.S., and a vital part of that analysis included economic destabilization caused by a loss of the dollar's world reserve status and petro-status. I have also always made clear that this fiscal crisis event would not occur in the midst of a political vacuum.

The central banks and international financiers that created our ongoing and developing disaster are NOT going to allow the destruction of the American economy, the dollar, or global markets without a cover event designed to hide their culpability. They need something big. Something so big that the average citizen is overwhelmed with fear and confusion. A smoke and mirrors magic trick so raw and soul shattering it leaves the very population of the Earth mesmerized and helpless to understand the root of the nightmare before them. The elites need a fabricated Apocalypse.

    Enter Syria...
I have been warning about the Syrian trigger point for a very long time. Syria's mutual defense pact with Iran, its strong ties to Russia, the Russian naval base off its coast, the advanced Russian weaponry in it's arsenal, its proximity to vulnerable oil shipping lanes, all make the nation a perfect catalyst for a global catastrophe. The civil war in Syria is already spreading into neighboring countries like Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon, and if one looks at the facts objectively, the entire war is a product of covert action on the part of the U.S. and its allies.

The U.S. trained, armed, and funded the insurgency using Al Qaeda operatives. Saudi Arabia has sent funding and arms as well. Israel has aided the rebels using air strikes within Syria's borders (even though this means that the Israeli government is essentially helping their supposed mortal enemies). This war would NOT be taking place today without the express efforts of the West. Period.

If one takes more than a brief examination of the Syrian insurgency, they would find an organization of monsters. Wretched amoral wetwork ghouls whose crimes have been thoroughly documented, including the mass executions of unarmed captured soldiers, the torture and beheading of innocent civilians, the mutilation and cannibalism of dead bodies, and the institution of theological tyranny on a terrified populace. The U.S. created and unleashed these demons, and now, we the people are being asked by the White House to support them through force of arms.

But what is the goal here...?

Nothing that John Kerry said will convince anyone. He has no credibility. He is just a talking head like Jay Carney.

I think Obama needs the support of Congress to justify his actions if this military strike goes bad and we are hit with retaliations, from either Syria, Iran or Russia.

Obama is doing his best to piss off Russia, as well.

Ted Cruz: U.S. not 'Al Qaeda’s air force’

Sen. Ted Cruz called President Barack Obama’s efforts to authorize military intervention in Syria a public relations move, saying the U.S. military shouldn’t be “Al Qaeda’s air force.”
The Texas Republican said Tuesday on TheBlaze that while he’s glad the president listened to calls from him and others to bring the issue to Congress, America shouldn’t get involved and risk helping terrorists in the rebel forces.

“We certainly don’t have a dog in the fight,” Cruz said, calling it a civil war in Syria. “We should be focused on defending the United States of America. That’s why young men and women sign up to join the military, not to, as you know, serve as Al Qaeda’s air force.”
