    Zeitgeist

If you have not seen or heard of the Zeitgeist movies, I recommend and hope that you give them a watch. They will challenge your perception of the world and give you new insights that you may have never considered before.

There were two films + a video presentation made. I would recommend watching the presentation first as an introduction, then watching the films.

The Presentation is here: The Zeitgeist Movement: Orientation Presentation

    1. "Zeitgeist The Movie":
The first film focuses on suppressed historical & modern information about currently dominant social institutions, while also exploring what could be in store for humanity if the power structures at large continue their patterns of self-interest, corruption, and consolidation.

    2. "Zeitgeist: Addendum":
The second film attempts to locate the root causes of this pervasive social corruption, while offering a solution. This solution is not based on politics, morality, laws, or any other "establishment" notions of human affairs, but rather on a modern, non-superstitious based understanding of what we are and how we align with nature, to which we are a part. The work advocates a new social system which is updated to present day knowledge, highly influenced by the life long work of Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project.

You can also visit the official website Zeitgeist - The Movie where you can download both films as torrents (legally).

I hope you enjoy them, and look forward to some good discussions on same.

    Cheers,
    Tarek

Wow. That's a whole lotta propaganda in two films.

  3. I really like the way they manipulate unrelated facts, throw in some small lies, distort a bit historical events to draw their own conclusions and make it all add up to look very clear, simple and convincing to an average person. If propaganda was an art that would've been a masterpiece!

I also enjoyed how they falsified ancient history claiming that stories which had no similarities to Jesus´life were almost identical. The movie´s goal was to shake your belief. Then recreate it according to what they want us to believe.

I would have paid a little more attention to the movie had it not been so full of lies from the beginning.

If you cannot convey the truth by telling the truth, you should not be listened to further.

There are quite a few films that are attractive to those who are feeling restricted by a prison they are aware of but will lead them to a prison they are unaware of.
Shame the producers seen to always have the resources to put them together. Or maybe they get a bit of assistance?
