Options Theme and others from ThemeHybrid are my prefered free wordpress themes.
But, you will need to do some work before they look like Premium ones (noobs: 1 hour). Other themes I like :

AdSense Blogs: ProSense from DoshDosh
"Magazine" Blogs: Revolution (and others) from Brian Gardner.

Recently, I have discoverd a very very nice theme : Fremium from FreebiesDock.com.
