    best free ftp

    I was wondering what the best free ftp software was

    I'm using filezilla, are others better or worse, easier or quicker etc?

    I'm using the FireFTP add-on for Firefox and very content about it. Seems to work a bit better than filezilla for the configuration i'm having at the moment.

    I use SmartFTP as well. I have always used it, and I always will use it.

    I'm using CuteFTP, never used this SmartFTP I'll check it.

    smartftp and cuteftp don't look to be free so I'll try fireftp first and see if I need to pay or not

    I am very pleased with FireFTP. It's FREE and fast. From GUI wise, it's really user friendly and on top of all, it's a firefox plugins so handy.

    I used thousands of free FTP clients, but there is only one that was MUCH better than all others...
    It's simple, powerfull and it does more than his job! It's mentioned a few times in this thread already.. the name is FireFTP

    There is only one thing, you need to have Firefox to run this piece of software (it's a firefox addon). But I think all of us smart webmasters use firefox..right?

    I actually bought it. It is not that expensive.
