    Form Validation Help

    Hi,

I currently have a proxy list, and I am starting to get a little tired of co.cc or other subdomains.

I'm curious if there's a way to set it so that if that the characters 'co.cc' are entered into the form, an alert box will pop up and and the Javascript won't let it submit.

    Thanks

Yes there is but javascript is the wrong place to do it, you must do it server side - within your php/asp/whatever.
I would check out a combo of stripos and substr

Thanks for the link geeknb, but it isn't detecting co.cc and other subdomains.

@Ogle, I don't know how to do this PHP wise.

Ogle is correct though, that's a whole PHP subroutine that has to be added.

I looked at the way we're doing it now and it's very complex. This is due to the way we allow certain second level domains and not others.

Perhaps this is because .om is the ccTL for the country of Oman?
