    How to lock a directory?

So I have all kinds of files uploaded in a directory and I'd like to make people fill out a survey or some aff offer before they can download any of them. How can I do that with a program like cpalead? They provide codes that block a page so people have to fill them before being able to access the content.
    thanks

Zango is a popular one. Not sure if you can search for ad networks that use a
    page overlay
all though it wont stop all of them doing this as viewing the source will show the links your covering with the ad.

Might need to use a system that can verify the completion of offers or surveys once verified then they can access a page.

What I want is to block the directory, like mysite.com/downloads to make people fill an offer before accessing any file in it, rather than a single page. I hope that's possible somehow.

    You should try this:

    • Create an index.php file in mysite.com/downloads
    • Copy & Paste this PHP code to list all files in the directory.
    • Now add the CPALead/Zango script

Just did this, but it only works when I go to the folder itself, it's not stopping me from downloading the files in it directly - which is what i need

Btw, the files are also in different sub folders, like mysite/downloads/324t3erf/file1.mp3
    mysite/downloads/abct/file2.mp3
    ..

It is possible with a bit of coding and if you chmod all the files so that access from just anyone can't get them.

I used something sorta similar when I was trying to setup for clickbank and didn't want just anyone downloading the eBook.

tried that, but it just shows a 403 forbidden error now
    Anyways thanks for the effort.
I guess it's a bit a more complicated that I thought, so I'll ask my programmer to fix that.
