Kind of Hotlink Protection - Need Help

Here's my dilemma for my proxy - I'm putting a CPALead on the index of the proxy. Once you fill it out, you can use the form on index.php to access browse.php

The problem is, anybody can access browse.php directly, bypassing index.php.

And normal site hot linking doesn't work because somebody can just go on any other page on my site and then hotlink.

So what would be a way that I could REQUIRE a user access my browse.php through my form on index.php - and only that form?

I don't know how to integrate sessions with that form, and I am thinking something along the lines of a random key? And it needs to expire every 2 hours.

I know it can be done, but I've been awak for 36+ hours so I'm in no state to try and think of it.

But wouldn't it be better anyhow to place the cpalead gateway on the browse page versus on the index? This way when they arrive to your site, they aren't immediately hit with the gateway, most people would just hit the back button at this point. Wouldn't you if the very first thing you saw on a site was an advert survey?

Instead, you can explain on the index about the cpalead survey, and why you're using it and how it benefits them (ie, no other ads on proxified pages, etc). Now, they'll be knowingly going forward to the proxified page and expecting to fill out a survey. And if they don't want to fill one out, hey at least they're on the index and may be more inclined to exit via say an adsense ad or to your other proxy sites, lists, etc.

Just my thoughts on it, Cheers!

For some reason I want it on the index.php page.

And I just figured out that what I want is CSRF protection.

But I got it figured out. Luckily, I can place CPALead's ads on BOTH browse.php and index.php and completing one will disable both. So problem solved

Nice. Oh, hey, did you apply to cpalead with the proxy or other? I might want to try something out with it as well.

Haha I'll do my own thing with it. But obviously the general idea will be the same, we can't go reinventing the wheel here
