    Need some help with a CSS issue

    Oddest issue this works fine in FF3 but in IE its not even close.

    IE

    FF3

    Coded Part
    HTML Code:
        <div id="header"><span id="headerBanner"><img src="images/banner_img.jpg" /></span>
            <h1></h1>
            <div id="menu">
            <ul>    <span id="menu_right">674 web proxies, 180 hits served so far</span>
            <li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
            <li><a href="#">Submit Site</a></li>
            <li><a href="#">Resources</a></li>
            <li><a href="#">Articles</a></li>
            <li><a href="#">Tutorials</a></li>
            <li><a href="#">Services</a></li>
            </ul>
            </div>
        </div>
    The Css I have
    Code:
    #header {
                padding: 4px 0 0 0;
                margin: 0 auto;
                width: 777px;
                text-align: left;
    }
    #header h1 {
                text-indent: -9999px;
                background: url('images/header.gif') no-repeat left top;
                height: 84px;
                width: 762px;
                margin: 5px auto;
    }

    #headerBanner {
                 float:right;
                 margin: 0 auto;
                 padding: 15px 15px 0 0;
    }
    I can usually find these fairly easy but I need a fresh set of eyes as I am missing a dumb mistake.

    You can either set header.gif as a background on #header instead of #header h1 or set header_img.jpg as a background on #headerBanner, or both. You'll probably have to play with the margins or whatever to fix the positioning after you change it, though.

    Failed to mention the image will later be a google ad so cant add it as a background.

    Can you set header.gif as a background on #header instead of the h1?
