    Post Prograaming/Scripting languages?

    What are the Programming/scripting main languages used for making softwarers and games

    i.e
    softwares like microsoft and nero and stuff
    games like EA games and other good games...

    I would like to know what scripting/programming language is used?

    Someone PLEASE help me!!!!

    For most serious coding where execution speed matters (like games), aren't people still using C/C++?

    Microsoft, on the other hand, seems to be writing a lot of code in Visual BASIC.

    yeah mostly c++

    I'm a Java fan for software development myself.

    These days processors and memory issues are no longer problems for it, and I'm quite sure that Oracle will now take it to the next level.
