What you prefer PHP or ASP.NET for making website?

I think ASP.NET is good but PHP is best for effects.
What do you think?

I find it easy, but it's like everything you need to get used to it. Very powerful

It is good for making website. by using PHP we can do effect on images also.
but PHP is some hard to learn.

PHP is the most used, I consider it easier since I know more about it than ASP.NET. For making websites and scripts, I use PHP 75% of the time.

Wink ASP.NET the best....

ASP.NET is the best option. Its lttle bit expensive for hosting but is the best and nice technology.
