Google issued a major PR update today (not finished yet).
I don't see any big bumps on my sites.
But then, I see the future of page rank to finally become irrelevant.
I have one site that was PR7 then it went PR5 now it's again PR7.
3 winners, 1 loser, a bunch of no changes for me...of note, the winners were hurt by the Panda, the loser was helped...hopefully that means the winners will soon recover??? Or they are more than likely just unrelated except for the trend of PR updates closely following major alg updates/changes as we've seen this year.
Hi,
Dummy me sounding in again. But will some one please take another look at what I said before? This has got to be more then just a coincidence?
Re read these posts of mine please.
Google PageRank Updates
Google Panda 2.5 Update September 18th 2011?
Now look at this.
It still seems strange to me that my sites over the past few years get huge spikes in traffic right before new updates take place.

Hi,
Seems still strange to me that the spike from google traffic seem to arrive right before and up date. I have been seeing this from the time I have been online. It is like they send people as a test to see how well they like the site and how to rate it.
I would understand it if, the site had spikes other times of the mo but why just before an update? Back when they were updating PR ever 3 mo you could see it real easy. I wish I would have taken screen shots from two/three years ago to show more proof.

Cool! My affiliate manager blog saw a nice jump as well as some of my other sites. Successful update for me![]()
Really hard to say what's happening. Google makes over 1000 changes to their algorithm each year and you'd have to assume that many are rolled back.
Is traffic for all your sites spiking or just specific ones? Do you know what keywords are getting the extra traffic? Where is the traffic spike coming from?
