I think I've tried it before... by accident. :s8:
One day, my father received an SMS about a 6-year-old boy kidnapped somewhere in Malaysia (The kidnapper quickly drove the father's car away when the boy was sleeping inside).
All of the details are there - the place, the car color, who to call. Since most of Gloson Blog visitors were from Malaysia, that time, I decided to post the SMS there.
After doing so, I searched for it using google, and came across a forum thread on it. A guy said the boy was found, two hours ago. I then deleted the posts.
I then discovered that some of Gloson Blog's traffic was coming from google searches on the SMS! Boy! Google indexed my post 20 minutes after I posted it (and it's the second result)!
Of course, they landed on a 404 page for I deleted that post. I then used a plugin called redirection to redirect the 404 page-visitors to the main page.
Sure enough, next day, the story came out in the press.
It drove about 50 visitors to my site in one day.

Not bad, but am still feeling guilty :s
