Thread: Blog Promotion Idea

hi all based on Free Blog Hosts i got an idea about some promotion activities just wanted to know is this the right way to promote.

Lets consider a Hypothetical Situation.

I start creating one account each on all the bloghost's. andi also have one blog hosted at my server.

Now what i plan is that all the bloghost have XMLRPC or simmilar protocol to allow remote publishing. in that case we can build a wordpress plugin which can push the excerpts of blogpost published on main blog with a ling to main blog for detailed reading.


how is the idea,

if it sounds good then i can start thinking about how to achieve it

Sure, that will work (if you have that protocol available), but you still need traffic moving through some of those sites and blogs. It is not likely this will do all that much from an SEO standpoint, but may help a little.

You'll get slammed by Google for duplicate content issues and your syndicate blogs will just be treated as "splogs".

This idea could work, but you'd need to have a mix of original content and make these blogs syndicate "themed content".

this was something i was also expecting and that's why a post first.

so if i want to do something like this my content must be unique on each blog.

got it.

I totally love the idea. I guess the next part is to figure out how to make a unique excerpts for each blog.

LFE uses XMPRPC for this purpose.

You could also incorporate article spinning to ameliorate your duplicate content issues.
