The exact opposite for me, I was very surprised that chrome was faster. I still will not use it for the simple fact that google collects to much information about me now.

Right now I'm using Chrome as a primary because of the speed, with Flock as 1st backup cause it'll accept most Firefox extensions but moves quicker than FF. For serious extensions I'll use FireFox, and if I wanna do the equivalent of driving down the WWW Highway with my air filter on the seat beside me... there's IE.
For those that need the extra speed but dont want to chug at the slower pace of Firefox when laden with tools... try Flock.
Nice to see the test data confirms what the "feel" of them indicated... good job on the research Hellas.
i posted this on opera firefox and chrome forums
on Opera forums is biggest discussion because they have biggest forum
on Firefox there is also a nice discussion but on chrome forums
there is no one :D
also some people get offended why their browser is not on first place
and they gave me bunch of advices for next test and links for large java script test... so next text will involve functionality and usability and at least 4-5 more browsers... Maybe i will try Linux browsers to.
Thanks Will for suggestions.
I found the article to have relevant content. Thanks for keeping your points concise with the frequent illustrations. It kept me reading, and allowed me to "skim" the information or tests I wasn't as interested in :)
Also, kudos to you for pushing forward with limited writing skills!! Great Job and nice Tenacity!
Thanks. I got bunch of great suggestion, and soon I will release second version of better and more detailed test with usability test to and test with weaker hardware :D.
And with much better graphics and images. As I said i did not expected that so many people would be interested for results.
From Will faq site I got, until now, over 1800 visitors. And from Opera and Firefox forums over 500... Thanks Will one more time.
