Why do you giveaway high quality contents and hard work to other sites than just keep your unique work on your own site?
Perhaps it is just me, but the main content work will always stay on my site with his own internal linking, rather than create free work to other sites just for the sake of having backlinks.
Internal linking is useless if no one knows your site exists. Internal linking is just half of the battle. You need other sites to be pumping link juice to your site to make those internal links stronger. The best way to get back links is the natural way. But, if you can't get them that way, you need to do it in a way that isn't spammy. In other words, providing high quality content in exchange for the link. And then, as time goes on, you won't need to because as your site gets bigger, more people will naturally link to you because you're an authority.
That's creating backlinks artificially, but let's be honest what kind of people are able to know how to create links besides a webmaster. Oh sure you can put lines of social bookmark codes on the pages so people can just click.
It is just me but I found this pathetic to reward social bookmarks that created just a friendly social plateform, sells advertising on members that bookmarked contents.
Basically members are doing a great job for free with members contents or contents they found somewhere else, for me it is sad because we create multi billions dollars monsters at our depends, look at FB...
