    Do you use Autoresponder?

Using Autoresponder could be an important marketing method to promote your business or service in an automated way. Have you ever thought about Autoresponders to use as a marketing technique? If you're already using it, which one you use?

I'm willing to use autoresponders, but my email adress (aquarezz@hotmail.com) got so known between the people from forums and friends, that it's hard to change to another provider. The provider would be one of my websites ofcourse, but the problem on that is that I wouldn't have any idea which website to use for it since I don't have any plans for long-term websites so far

The reason I can't use an autoresponder at the moment is because it isn't possible with Hotmail -- But I'm sure it helps into the marketing niche

For what kind of emails though? For some I would probably use autoresponder, but for most I prefer to give every single thing I do a personal touch, even if it takes a lot of time.

So far I know, there're only two types of Autoresponders.

    * Standard Autoresponder, that's developed to work with your email program. It automatically answers your emails.

    * Advanced Autoresponder, that's programmed to send follow-up messages. Your messages are scheduled be sent automatically at a specified time.

autoresponders are only good if you have a mailing list.

Two of the most widely used autoresponders by internet marketers are:
    1. aweber
    2. getresponse

getresponse is cheaper than that of aweber but according to many internet marketers who have tried both, aweber offers better service.

Autorseponders are great for building an email list and sending follow up messages to your subscribers to build a relationship with them and make more sales - so instead of making just one sale when somebody buys a product from your website, you can make additional sales over time.

    For example:

Joe visits your muscle building website where you have a "squeeze page" set up and some short sales copy letting him know he can get a free goodie, such as a report, video tutorial or something else related to muscle building. In order to receive the free goodie, he just has to enter his email address.

Now you have his email address, and Joe gets his free goodie. Over the course of the next few days, Joe receives a series of emails (that you've already written and loaded into your autoresponder to go out automatically at set times to each new person who opts-in to your email list). The emails give him further information and tips on the topic of muscle building. And in each email, you mention that he can get even more tips by ordering your Muscle Building Mastery E-Book, which you sell for $19.

Because you've now built up a reputation for knowing your stuff, with all the free content and tips he's gotten from your emails, Joe trusts you enough to buy your Muscle Building Mastery E-Book.

Several weeks later, Joe starts to receive emails about your ultimate program on muscle building, which is an 8 DVD set which costs $199. Again, if Joe's happy with the results he's been getting from your products, and your sales message is convincing, and he can afford it, he's likely to buy this product.

You can continue this process over and over again with various products of your own and affiliate products as well. So instead of just driving traffic to your site and making a single sale from Joe (if he even bought on the first visit, which most people don't), you end up making multiple sales from him over the course of several years. And that process goes on with each customer who subscribes to your list. So just by building a list, you could be doubling, tripling, quadrupling or more the revenue that your websites are producing.

I've used Aweber and iContact so far. Aweber is probably the best autoresponder service, but iContact isn't bad either.

I own PHPAutoResponder and will soon open a support forum for it here at NetBuilders.

Eventually, you will be able to buy PHPAutoResponder with NetBucks.
Submit Your Webmaster Related Sites to the NB Directory
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
