    Feedburner

I'm not quite understanding how Feedburner calculates the total number of feeds you have to display in the small button they provide. Their website states I have 14 readers, yet on my site the button displays 0! Yesterday I know for a fact I have 14 readers according to the button, but today there is none? Is there something I'm missing here?

Site in question is Making Money Blogging - Blog Stew

Ask your self this, why aint you signed up to my feed yet! (please, please sign up! )

The reason it shows 0 for you is because Google is switching Feedburner over to it's servers. You can read more and get your feed moved at FeedBurner.com. You will not lose any of your subscribers. I moved my feed over for my affiliate manager blog and everything went very smooth.

Believe it or not, I have never used FeedBurner. Does it actually help to drive traffic? How effective do you think it is?

If there a good WordPress plugin for FeedBurner? I see the FeedBurner FeedSmith Plugin on the Google site. Is that the best way to go?

I am also concerned when Google acquires or offers anything that helps them gather more info about a site.

I wouldn't be worried about Google gathering information because they're just going to do it anyway. I love feedburner because it takes care of everything for you. Plus, a lot of people trust it.

I currently have 55 subscribers and 51 of them use the e-mail subscription. I don't have to worry about the e-mails not sending or anything like that because it's in Google's hands.

If you want to try another service I suggest Subscribe2.
