An Internal Server Error is not typically caused by a surge in traffic.

I am not sure if it's from google, checking with my host now for the server logs information.

This is most likely due to you using more RAM than your hosting allows.

Your best bet is to contact your host and seek an upgrade if this sort of traffic continues.
