it hurt me and really hurt ....
yesterday traffic drop 30% (3500 to 2500),today 16 hour traffic drop 70% (3300 to 700) 8 hour to go and i don't think i can pick up another 2600 in next 8 hour :(......
I just found out, when u type in "keyword", if you choose the keyword by arrow key (down and right), it go straight to the site .....
this is really too much ...
Allowing more than one result from a website per page and Google Instant is a signal that Google is trying to encourage the big websites, quality websites, brands. Step by step the content will become more important than ever, why ? to build a brand, a quality website, to make people search for your site you must have good content, build a "name", a "brand", exactly what SEO was supposed to be at the beginning (good position in SERPs = people are linking to you, because you are good).
I think Google is trying to eliminate the speculations from the search results (more searches for a site = something important, good site, brand). This could be a major ranking factor in the future not only a feature.
Will be harder and harder for search engines to control the SERPs, the quality of the results so I guess more filters will be introduced in the future.
Most likely Instant is an innovation meant to increase profitability by driving traffic to from the cheap long tail searches to the higher paying keywords.

That's the theory at least :)
There isn't any difference in the search results. The difference is in the keywords that Google suggests as they try to predict what you are searching for.

From user stand I think they are tards to implement this.
From SEO stand I think they are F... tards to implement this. (At least user can shut it down in options but SEO can't make their market shut it down).
I agree with bogart, longtail probably has too cheap clicks so Google is trying to increase competition for "main" keywords. They don't care about users it's all about the $. And if they lose few % of users they can always shut it down. But they will brand it as next "super mega revolutionary" thing so a lot of people will buy into this crap.
My advice to all of you is... Tell everyone you know to shut down this in settings, if a lot of people shuts this down Google will see it was bad decision and will turn it off (like G. Wave).
Do ya think people are going to start promoting half keywords?

I certainly hope not... but it's got me curious.
I don't think this will help, but maybe. When Google suggests searches based on someone typing webma they're suggesting what they think you're typing.
If you're able to convince Google that people, in that case, would be searching for webma and not webmaster then it could be beneficial.

but google did is : when keyword selected, it go straight to first result site, as a user i don't even have a chances to look for other alternative result ...
so in current SEO status is RANK 1 or Die 1 .......
This is what i hate about google, they care about them self only, is about time to support BING ...
I think the right arrow signifies "I'm feeling lucky" which. If you were to not press the right arrow key you would see the results of the term on the page below automatically.
