Not only this PR issue but also Adsense for Search cannot be created for about 10 days . There are a couple of threads about including this.

Lastly, it has been very long since Adsense and Gmail logins aren't synchronized any longer, and I am still waiting for that fix, too.

Finally PR6 from PR5, took 2 years for this step! Not as I care too much though, as the traffic has dropped.

Here is my thought. Do you think google has shut off the toolbars from showing PR?

I feel I have sites that should have PR but are showing as PR0.

I wonder if when my sites that had no pr back in May went to the toolbar say PR0 if that was the update.......

I have also noticed that internal pages on my sites that had PR are very slowing changing to PR 0.

Lets face it here google is not a dummy they also don't like link sales, they know they some people make a living selling links based or PR.

Now this is a big WHAT IF. but what if google has started to hide the PR from the toolbars. Instead of turning every site to PR 0 at one time they are doing it slowly hoping not to bring attention on themselves.

We are all sitting here waiting for a PR update to come that is never going to happen. Then sometime in the future they will make some big announcement the they have changed the way pages are rated and the PR toolbar is a thing of the past.

I doubt that's true.
I've seen a few of my sites drop to PR0 too but i don't think they will rule out the toolbar Pagerank.
One main reason for my opinion is due to this video


It was uploaded exactly 1 month back from now and has absolutely no mention about Google getting rid of the Pagerank update.

The next Pagerank update will happen, but the precise date is not known.

Well, we heard that from the horses mouth. LOL So what happened to the auto clockwork???

I still think something is in the works and that was a political answer that said nothing.

Typically, we reserve the right, and just are option. With words like those if he ran for president would you feel your question was answered?

Google usually exports PR to the toolbar a.k.a 'PR update' when the have finished-up the updates to the algorithm. The PR update is like a 'general housekeeping chore' like hitting the lights off before you close up for the night. You notice that most of the PR updates are around the holidays. My guess is that Google is still making changes to the algo and we will probably see an update at Halloween.

It seems like public PR updates are such a low priority for Google that they don't mind if they are three months (or more) behind the current public expectation of one PR export per quarter.

This just shows that Google doesn't give a damn about webmasters.

I think that Google wants to get rid of PR. But they keep it just in case a competitor comes along with something. Webmasters would be all over a pagerank that was updated on a monthly basis.

I am like you Will and I am loosing my trust in Google for many other reasons.

For example indexing other sites stealing my contents or parts of my contents or even re-writed from my articles.

Some other sites have propagated their infrigments by article directories!

Even with DMCAs they don't give a damn, it is pathetic that this search engine is falling a parts.

I'm still wondering how I have new pages showing PR 0? IS this only happening to me?

No one else is seeing it? I have a new squidoo lens only about 3 weeks old Now showing PR 0.

With NO update why would it be showing anything? I also have a new site that I put online ‎Friday, ‎September ‎10, ‎2010, ‏‎1:19:38 AM with some pages showing PR 0.
