    Google Shopping Optimization

I'm firing up a new store, UltimateGamingTheater.com, and plan on doing some experimentation with Google Shopping.

So far there's *very* little information out there on Google Shopping Optimization (GSO). Has anyone else played at all? Any resources you've come across?

Personally, I think this could be an untapped SEO goldmine, but further research is warranted.

This is a topic I'm interested in, but have almost zero first-hand knowledge of.

As links and domain authority don't seem to be as important in Google Product Search as in "regular" Google Search, I think much of the "secret" might just be keyword stuffing the Google Base Attributes. I'm guessing that total word count is more important than keyword density.

If your product gets thrown into one of those "from 86 sellers" listings, you're stuck into a price competition. For that, all you can do is cut your product down to the most barebones options possible and try to upsell once the customer is on your site.

It might also be good to boost your seller ratings by offering customers spiffs for entering them, like discounts on future orders.

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Damnn.. Looks like you replied at the same time.. and the first line was.. This is one of the topics I want to explore and I'm nuts about. I get excited when I see those shopping and pricing links with some of search phrases like proactol..

I wish to get this thread a nice discussion platform for G-shopping optimization.

    I'd be back soon.
