    Have you ever...

Has anyone actually visited a website they saw on a tv commercial?

I have seen so many websites advertising on tv and I haven't been to one. I wonder if people actually go to any of the sites promoted on tv. I saw one the other day on comedy central and I thought for 2 sec. of actually going there and then decided not to...my laptop wasn't in front of me lol!!

Yep! I've visited drug commercial sites out of sheer boredom. I thought it was ridiculous that drug companies were forced to give you all of the major side effects but often avoided telling you what the drugs actually did.

Once I watched Boston Legal tv show and Danny Crane mentioned his imagined website which offer legal services in the show something like www.dennycranelegal.com or similar I forgot now, I immediatly went to my PC and typed that address .

In other cases I was not interested to check what they have to offer .

p.s. That tv show is good because of William Shatner and character they developed for Denny Crane and bunch of Star Trek actors
which often brake 4th and 5th wall

    I -loved- that show.

Did you catch how they cleverly took scenarios from famous movies and turned them into trials? There was one where a large pharmaceuticals company called Devlin McGregor was pushing a miracle drug that caused liver failure. It was an homage/followup to The Fugitive.

    Yes.

And Alan and Denny end talk is also special part of the show

Here are their 4th wall brakeouts
