Thread: How can i get my proxy website a high page rank?

Do you guys have any suggestions on what i should mainly focus on to get my proxy website a higher pagerank? Yahoo answers? Social Bookmarking? Directory Submissions? Blog commenting? Signature links? Xrumer services?

Hi there,

I don't think it will be effective trying to increase your pagerank since in average a proxy website got banned within a month or two by most companies and schools / universities.

I think it's better to try to bring as many traffic as possible ASAP to your proxy websites by submitting it to as many proxy toplists / proxy directories as possible.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to Web Proxies - Net Builders since there seems to be an obsession with Proxy sites building up on these forums? And many of us have no interest in Proxy sites.

I know that most proxy websites get blocked but if you take a look at very popular proxy websites such as Hide my ass, They have been open for many
years and they are very popular, I think there is a way around getting blocked perhaps by buying more then 1 IP for my proxy with my host?

think that there is a BUNCH of members here if not more then half which are

No it shouldn't because it's not actually about the proxy itself. It's about pagerank. Threads are sorted based on their subject matter, not the website in question. Pagerank is the same for all websites.

Now if he were asking how to advertise his proxy, then yes, it would go into the Proxy forum, as proxies have a different method of advertising from other types of websites.

Those aren't really good. No linkback lets people mass submit their hundreds of proxies easily and your link will get pushed back to page 10 in a matter of hours with no hits.

Well if that's the route you wish to take then perhaps you can do the usual SEO stuffs, social bookmarking, article marketing, forum signatures, etc etc...

For me, I prefer to go with "hit and run" tactic, create a set of proxy websites, submit them to numerous proxy toplists and proxy directories at once, and enjoy the income they generate while preparing the new set of proxy websites, soon after the traffic drop, I simply repeat the process all over again with the new set.
