Thread: How To Get Backlinks?

Can someone help me please. I have a new site but i dont feel i am getting as half as good enough traffic i need for my site. I only get like 100 hits per day and i would like help on how to get more

From where basically are you getting traffic?? Search engines or direct links. There are tons of ways to get backlinks, i.e. signatures, blog comments, link exchanges, etc. try googling it for more info.

Pot quality content and establish yourself as an expert on a topic. If people like your content, they will link to it.

And that is the proper way to build backlinks. It all starts with the content.

Hi, do some directory submission, social bookmarking this will help you to get rank in google and you definitely get a good traffic.

Commenting on blogs can help, especially when your domain name can be used as a nick name so you can link and fly under the keyword spam radar. And if they display the top commentators on the home page, it is a bonus.

Posting in forums? Blog commenting? Social Bookmarking?

However, without great content, none of those tactics are going to work. You have to publish content that other sites WANT to link to. And, once people get to your site, you have to have content that makes them want to stick around.

Well, I would say that this is not true. Yes great content is great thing to have but saying that you cannot make it without great content is simply incorrect. I have sites with lame duplicated content that rank on the first page and those sites rank through methods where I used lame dupe content to promote them. And best part it's actually a very stable and longterm ranking. I haven't touch them in 1-2 years. So, even tough I would say good writers are very important for a lot of task I can't agree with this false statement.

I use great writers for things where I need to have great content but that doesn't change the fact that if you know how to do it right you don't need "great content".

And about backlinks. How to get them, hmm. Well there are a lot of methods: web directory submissions, software/blog/rss directory submissions, article submissions to article dirs,article submissions to blog networks, press release submissions, blog commenting, forum commenting, profile creation on forums and social sites, guestposting, linkbait, widgets tools and embedable content, content licencing, blogs creation on free services, css galeries, donation sites, giving reviews & testimonials, contests, badges, link buying, link exchange and all kinds of asking and earning links.

Do your sites with 'lame duplicated content' convert?
