How important is useless Traffic

Alexa ranking and if you want to sell your site in flippa. Many newbies there easily sold to idea of one month site with 20,000 visitor per month.

It just increases the bounce rate of the site nothing more. Some times it helps you for improving the Alexa rank of the site.

Just to get more visitors is not important but thing that is important is to get engagement of those visitors to the site and then only you will see the better results. But if you get so many visitors but they closed your site without any transaction or without spending time then it will raise your site bounce rate and this is the negative factor in the pr calculation.

Traffic a best source for increase ranking without traffic you cannot get a better search engine ranking.

Traffic has nothing to do with ranking in search results!

Traffic has nothing to do with getting page rank.

The search engines may not have any way to tell how much direct traffic a website gets.
