How to outrank Google video results

Okay while analyzing a niche, I'm seeing 'Google Video Results' in first four places. Video results are indeed better than the sites being displayed afterwards.

So how do I go about outranking these Google video results?

I made a video with a good title/added good descriptions and tags. It helped me rank number for while. It was on youtube though, but when people searched on google, it went to the youtube video.

The same as with "normal" SERPS, you just need better on-site SEO and more links.

Heck, I'd even try embedding videos into my page.

Make your page the most authoritative page on the topic and eventually Google will recognize you.

After giving a close look, I realized the sites below the Google video results lack proper on-site SEO, and links (quality).

This is definitely required to make people stay on site and go through it *hopefully clicks will also come*

But the thing is I'd be adding Google's videos on the page, so won't this stop me from outranking Google videos?

Use <object> to embed them, so that it doesn't count like you are linking to them.
