Thread: Increasing Alexa ranking ?

Guy how to increase Alexa ranking ???
my site with good traffic :
5k daily UV (average)
20k-25k Daily Pageview
95% is local traffic.



I need to boost my alexa rank to satisfy my sponsor, btw this is my first experience on client interested on Alexa rank then analytics/statcounter ....

anyone can help ?? any idea input ??

I was going to write a large post about how to increase your Alexa ranking but here might be a few things:
Ask friends to install the Alexa toolbar and ask them to browse your website daily.

Download the toolbar on public computers (school, workplace -if possible-, etc. be creative) and make your website as homepage.

Get many webmasters to your page, most of the webmasters have the Alexa toolbar or a plugin that has the Alexa toolbar integrated.

Place an advertisement on your website or make a post on your website about how Alexa can change your visitors' browsing experience and they might give it a try.

What?

And what do you mean? Using the ranking image? I don't know if it's counted towards your ranking, the company itself says that they base rankings solely on users that use their toolbar -- they say nothing about something else..

If you want to do it the faster way, there are a few blackhat tools that can improve/enhance your Alexa rankings.
I can't remember the names of any at the moment as i haven't used them but am pretty sure they do exist.

yah this is what i look for, but only for alexa hopefully nothing will damage my adsense, google serp and index

You could also use some sort of Alexa toolbar code and put it on your pages. Every visitor then gets a random number (random screen size etc) and for Alexa it looks like they're all using the toolbar while they aren't. I've tested this once on a proxy and it looked pretty good. The guy has started selling his code though than, but it's probably still somewhere on DP

Maybe you can use entrecard. it is very good to increase alexa rank.

We can not use black hat tools for seo work. Google can be black listed to my site.
