Well i dont find any such reason coz google has been so dominating , no 1 searches in yahoo or altavista etc..
its just it increases the link popularity

Well i think that the time taken by Yahoo to index your website is much lesser than what Google takes.No doubt,Google is a busier than Yahoo,however,what we want is our websites to get indexed.
Yahoo takes 5 to 10 days on average to index a website.Google may take more than 15.:mad:
