True, I expect the "loss" rate to be fairly high, but the "investment per site" should be fairly low.
I've got other projects building links on Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo, Hubpages, etc...
I'm pretty tired of their arbitrary switching to nofollow links, and I am also wondering how long Google will continue to "count" links from those sites at the rate they are currently being spammed.
I'll not register any domains for this project. I specifically want links from domains that are not tied to me.
I'm as happy with a subdirectory as a subdomain.
Yep. I'm hoping to do a lot of crosslinking between these sites, but I'm sure I'll also do article marketing and a few of my other "usual" techniques.
Yep. I have a team in Chennai who will do most of this work.
Sort of a cross between the two. I'm going to start a new thread on that.![]()

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
Sounds like a good idea, but the only negative aspect is that these free webhsot may get dissapeared sooner or later, but these established web 2.0 properties [ Weebly, Squido, Hub pages, etc.] are here for so long. SO mini site creation would be better i guess. gotta work out on it.

It is not necessary to register to all of these web 2.0 sites, we just have to pick the "ripe" ones. In having a list with web 2.0 properties, quality is better than quantity. It is best to pick the good ones where you will be building your own army of hosted pages.
I remember that 10 years ago when I got started, putting up fake sites on about 10 free hosts worked quite well. Of course, these days, you will have to put a lot more effort into it to see results, but still ... it should work according to the same concept.
My question would be why not try and mix some of the content around a little bit.
Depending on what it is about, would like to see some results based on using similar text and just altering the names of the cities for example. There has been a real estate site which used the same article for every town in the the U.S. and only changed a few lines including the name of the city for each article.
I would however not be surprised if some of those hosts have already been 86ed by Google.
Just let us know the ones that work![]()
