Linking from site on same IP

I have been doing extensive crosslinking between sites on the same IP.

I'm not seeing a negative effect from crosslinking deep pages. I may have seen a negative effect from sitewide crosslinks.

I think it will not effect. I have around 3 or 4 sites on the same niche. and My first site is around 7 or 8 months old and I added my new sites there. No effect yet.. It's almost 2 months now.

Like if I am hosting two sites on the same shared hosting package, site A is old and has good PR and site B is brand new. If I link from site A to site B, will that have a positive effect on site B? or will it have no effect / negative effect on both sites?
