Thread: Looking for direct traffic links

    Looking for direct traffic links

I want to start building links again, but only from websites, pages and blogs which have

    1) Traffic niche related or semi niche related.
    2) Rank themselves for good and related keywords or show sources proving to me that they actually get visitors.

Need to be free or cheap.

    I have a few questions:

Have you ever bought those types of links? How did you find them? And how much did they usually go for.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

One method is probably to target the sites that you want to obtain links from and contact the site owners. I get get e-mails with offers to purchase links like that on my sites almost every week, but I ignore them because I do not sell links. Make a reasonable offer for the links.

Make sure that the links are contextual and are embedded in similar articles. The links must look natural.

I have never met a link builder who provides quality links, so it may be a waste of time and money to pursue that channel.

I get those emails also and again I just ignore them.
Though once, I quoted them $15,000 per link and they emailed back saying they would have to discuss with their client.
    And that was that!

Most of those emails are not really looking for a niche, just link sellers or ad agencies that send them out.

I say again, a link in a blog post is better than a link anywhere else on a blog.
Though if for just traffic, the link in the sidebar is a good place.

When buying links from anyone (especially on a forum), do get where those links will be and then check to see if they show up.
A lot of sellers on forums are from a foreign country and will place them on blogs and sites that very few people will actually see.

That's the type of links I want to build, too!

but you lost me on the "free or cheap" part.

Websites that have real traffic know they have the traffic--so those links won't be free or cheap.

    Very true on the traffic.
But I am finding most webmasters will not buy links.

Even when I offer free, no takers.

Google has created a state of paranoia about links. They appear to be getting more aggressive about paid links.

Hmmm....so google says, going to buy advertorials?
    Use no follow links only.

You have my vote for that one, as well. They have gotten way too big and are being protected by the US government. I'm beginning to believe the conspiracy theories that say they have tied to the NSA and their real primary mission is to spy on web users.

I wonder how many billions of dollars of Internet wealth they have destroyed in the past few years.

    No conspiracy.
It is public knowledge that the FBI, CIA, etal do get lots of info from google without need or warrants.
The only thing that is in question is just exactly what does google give them and how often.

It depends on what level of data feed they subscribed to: Gold, Silver, or Bronze I guess? Subscription packages may include: Chrome browsing data, Page Rank look-up logs, or the search query data.
