Could you suggest me ways to market a free hosting site. It is very competetive and saturated niche, but i think if i make a huge marketing campaign i might still squeeze in. What do you think? :)

In my opinion you first of all have to promote your hosting in forums, there are lots of listings and forums where people like you trying to give free host and if you can give something that users want you will be successful, mostly like ads free hosting (like me) also try to attract with big space or bandwidth ;)
Use social networking services, forums and discussion threads to get more and more traffic. If they like your stuff, they will link to you.
I agree to the colleague that one of the best ways to promote your free hosting services is posting in forums related to your services. And remember, that your services could work as a promotion tool(the better services you provide, the more known they are).
