A link bait is an article that will attract other related sites to to write about your article and then link to you..its like making others link to you based on the "awesomeness" of your article..it can be:

extremely informative
informative + engrossing
informative + controversial

like say: 10 animals that look cute but are deadly... 5 reasons why you should not make money online.. blah blah blah .

Ah it sounds a bit complicated, and I think it only works with a website with high traffic already so when it readers find it interesting then they start to write about it. Thanks for the info btw...

Well, the linkbait article has to be really linkworthy..rather than promoting your whole blog, you can even promote that one article which you believe can bring tons of traffic.

Link bait doesn't need to be an article. You can use any content including photos and applications as link bait. Apps are great link bait.

Also submit your rss feed to rss aggregators.

hhmm... I think I can do it. hhmm.... the best link bait for my niche will be... hhmm.... gonna think about it...
