Thread: Is offline marketing working for you?

In the past 2 years I have come to conclude that the best way to advertise with a limited budget is to do whatever inspires you the most. If you use Youtube for example: Regardless of the link juice, a good presentation can easily get your site going by a 5 minute impact that comes from within.

Everytime I go on webmaster forums, I see mostly the same "ideas" shared which are usually pretty basic:
Link building, email marketing etc.

Not saying there is anything wrong with it, but I am wondering if anyone here has something to share that worked for them that not everyone has done yet.

Mainly I am hoping for some offline marketing success as I personally believe there are many avenues which can bypass the regular online channels and get someone with the right motivation kick started quicker.

Offline marketing really does good for those in the computer business, computer repair, web design, hosting, just about any company doing anything that has to do with computers.

A local website designer does all her business offline.
Because she can go straight to the business or individual and work with them to get exactly what they want.
And she gets good high prices for this.
She did try online, but so much cheap workers out there who really don't do good jobs, that it was hard for her to really get good paying business.

I've never spent any money on offline marketing like brochures or even a newspaper ad. I don't think it would work that good if you're advertising a website.

You must not watch tv or listen to radio then.
Just about every single commercial on tv? Has a website mentioned or shown.
Same on radio.

And all those companies would not be doing so if it was a waste of money and time.

Yes, offline marketing is still working for various purpose. Here, you can choose the best marketing ads that match with your website and product that will be sell.

Offline marketing is really a effective way of marketing and i already proven it.
