Yes well,usually you can filter out 95% of those "guru lessons" by just not falling for "Will teach you SEO in a week" or other scams of that kind

Some may offer crash courses about learning SEO online, but ensure that you are dealing with credible names so that you won't waste money. I also experience learning SEO through phone consultation, it may cost us but its worth the money once we have learned the ins and outs about the industry.

I agree you can get good theories and learn a lot in forums like Netbuilders, but that was not my question.
When you depend on SEO in a professional way, then there may not be enough time to figure out everything about SEO by yourself. In that case you either hire a professional to do SEO for you or take SEO training yourself.
Either way, I have been looking at SEOmoz as well but I haven't made a decision yet.
For what it's worth:
SEOmoz fees are -depending on the package- $79/$129/$229 per month.
SEObook monthly fee is $300 per month.
