You have a canonical url problem that should be corrected with a 301 redirect.

Pick one version of the url either the www or non-www and use it. Don't use both.

Here's how to do a 301 redirect for the non-www to www version of your url. Place in the .htaccess file.

    Code:
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.gsmdna\.net [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.gsmdna.com/$1 [R=301,L]

The update is not in progress. Rather a PR export to the toolbar is in progress. This is a snapshot of your pr that was taken a few weeks ago and already is out-of-date. Adding backlinks now with not increase the values in the toolbar. However, adding quality backlinks may increase your rankings and the internal pagerank of your website.

    Bogart is correct.

I would like to make note of a little more generic version of the htaccess rule to do this.

    Code:
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\. [NC]
    RewriteRule .* http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]

i want to redirect www version to non-www version, so that my site opens like this http://mysite.com
    So, i did this:

    Options +FollowSymLinks
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^.gsmdna\.net [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://gsmdna.com/$1 [R=301,L]
I modified last two lines, just want to confirm before adding it that if i modified the 3rd line correctly or not..
Please see and let me know that is it correct?

    301 redirect www to non-www

    Code:
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.gsmdna.net [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://gsmdna.net/$1 [L,R=301]

    I did it..
it now redirects to www version to now-www version
but pr results still the same

It will take a while for the PR to change. Maybe after the next PR update. Till then, you can continue your Seo efforts.

Make sure that all of the inbound links that you set up stick to your new standard.

Like Snak3 said, the issue will probably be resolved with the next PR update.
