Links are always beneficial till they are relevant.

All links are beneficial, I believe that if you do a good combination of paid and non-paid then you'll do fine. But, you need paid links that are going to bring traffic, not just sit there as a link.

Dofollow links useful in terms of passing PR juice and traffic while Nofollow link in terms of only traffic.

usually Would prefer to buying links with internal pages. One blogrolls for one page can make my sites on Good rankings with competitive keywords
