Thread: Panda 2.4 Update August 2011

Rankings were not changed, however stats are back to normal since yesterday. They were completely off for a few days, on an architecture related site of mine it was showing 96% bounce rate for google search traffic. That is just impossible. The keywords that I rank for with that site is exactly what people are looking for and it's not a one page site full of ads, but hundreds of pages of useful content. So I would guess it was a bug.

Strange. Also strange are the monthly PR/Panda updates.

BTW, What is the bounce rate now?

Do triond and bukisa allow you to post a resource with do follow links?

Bukisa allows you to republish the articles. So right off the bat, there's duplicate content issues similar to ezine.

Google said there Panda's update will have a little impacts under 9% of queries. So hardly user might notice it. Initial launch of Panda affected around 12%.

Panda 2.4 was more of am international update. Let's see what happens in September.

  8. How do you know when a new Panda Update is? I read a lot about it on this forum but I can't find it on the net. Does it also say what the update is for? What the effect might be?
