Promoting my house

I'm going to move to another city in 6 months. So, I need to sell my home. If to speak from marketing positions what sounds to be better to market my house myself or to turn to Realtor?

I would suggest you to hire some 3rd party service for this job.

You'll save some time and they will probably get some extra money.

I'd use a realtor. They can probably put your listing in the MLS.

Taking a help of real estate agent would be the best option for you to sell your house. However, I would like to add that to increase the value of your home, you should do some decorations in your home.

This thread is years old! So, this post is for the benefit of discussion. Working with a real estate agent is a good idea. You can also try building a website and promoting it. I've seen where people have done this. The best of both worlds would be for you to pass the leads to your real agent agent. You can easily find a free Wordpress template and install a gallery to it.

You should go on real state sites to sell your house.

If you turn to realtors then it could be better for you and also you will more prices of your house because if the realtor sells your house then they will get commission from this, so they try to sell your house with maximum price. So this could be better for you.
