    You can beat wiki by creating better content and putting it on an EMD.

    No-follow is an attribute read by search engines, and not people. So, A link from Wikipedia will give you traffic. Because, people will click on it.

    I've been wondering the same thing (if a wiki link might be valuable). I have a feeling that getting a link in wikipedia may actually be very valuable, but I have yet to get one, so I can't say yet! I hope someday I can provide an answer.
