Just wondering... How's your rank in Yahoo! now? -SOL-

Is your site new? Yahoo can be much slower than Google in ranking new sites.

You might also submit your site to the Yahoo Directory.

Was your site ever ranked in Yahoo? If your site has been penalized by Yahoo, you can use the Yahoo! Search URL Status Review Form to ask to be reincluded.
Submit Your Webmaster Related Sites to the NB Directory

The problems should be solved shortly. I believe that Yahoo has signed an agreement with Microsoft for Bing to power yahoo search.

Yahoo has problems resolving canonical issues with the www vs non-www urls which can cause ranking problems.

Which causes another issue since MSN's crawler most of the time takes forever to start even crawling a new site, let alone indexing and ranking it.

That's why Google is the #1 search engine.

The Yahoo results aren't bad. I'm guessing that they use the Yahoo directory, dmoz and trustrank as the main factors in ranking. You see the same sites ranking for years on yahoo. Even though no new content or backlinks are added.

The yahoo same filters are a lot weaker than google. So I'm guessing that once they get relevant results they stick with them and assign the trustrank. But it makes it difficult for the new guy to rank.
