Have you ever reported anyone to Google for whatever reason?

That's not really a good philosophy to go by. If someone was maliciously bashing at your website to get higher rankings with obscure key words, wouldn't you want to report them? Well, by your statement, since you're not getting paid, you won't report them.

This is the human being, you are only report those "competitor" and i can tell you most of the people that report to google are spammer, they are trying to use this "technique" to beat their competitor. And dont forget that google is the leader of the search engine, they shall develop the technology to prevent those "spamming website" and provide the best result. Google's employee need to work out on this, this is their value, if you do their job, they will lose the job

No one will lose their job if you report them. There are billions of pages on the Internet. I'm sure that Google staff have a lot to do and will not lose their job because you report them. Also, why have a "report" section if they could lose their job?

How you "sure" about this? you are google employee?



The "report" is made by the top management, and all the company around the world is trying to get less man power if possible to save the cost.

That's hypocritical. You say that people will lose their jobs if you report others, but do you work for Google? I doubt it.







I casually work at an Energy/IT firm. There is a report button on their website. When I go to their department, they are hard out working. They also get more work as they are investigating claims. Just because you hit the report button doesn't mean its all done. They have to investigate, confirm, blacklist, send out notices and possibly Cease & Desist court notices, and so that's quite some work.







I am 100% sure.

I not from IT firm and not sure how true is it.Anyway, I assume that you are right



However, why they need other people helps them to report but they cant do it by themself?



I'm manufacturing/company consultant and "report" is mean that internally no doing a great job, this is consider as improvement opportunity in manufacturing/company
