You even stole all their comments and haven't even bothered to change anything from the original article. I really hate it when people do this and think that it's ok. Learn how to write your own content.

I just cant understand why people do this...it wont help them because sooner or later Google WILL cache them and then their site is worthless (its worthless one way or another but...)

wouldn't reverse SEO just be "online reputation management", though?

    Reverse SEO

    Hi,
Reverse SEO:- reverse search engine optimization (reverse seo), reverse search engine optimisation (the act of rendering a search engine's results optimal by decreasing the rank of potentially negative results or bad press) "the simultaneous optimization of intended results while decreasing or eliminating unintended results"; "in an optimization problem we seek values of the variables that lead to an optimal value of the function that is to be optimized"; "to demote the optimization and diversification of a search engine result." – Clinton Cimring, 2006
Reverse SEO is the process of removing (technically de-ranking) websites other than your own from the first pages of Google.

No the above answer is wrong.
What I learn from my experience and from Internet reverse seo means when some one make complain against any complain forum then they publish it just in bottom of your link. I mean the complain link. Making the link backward is called reverse SEO.
Try to give proper information. Otherwise people get confused. Because people learn from hear.
