    Site Not Indexed - Help?

    Hey there, everyone.

I recently purchased a domain name off Google and am working on developing a site on it. The site itself is nothing amazing but it's made entirely of unique content. Anyway, I submitted it to all the search engines but Google, Yahoo and MSN seem to not be picking it up. Zero pages are indexed by all of those engines.

I checked the Google Webmaster panel and it asked me to file for Reconsideration, which I did. What about the other search engines? Is there any way to find out for sure what's going on? I am assuming the problem lies with something the former owner of the domain did.

The site is: Natural Male Enhancement and Penis Enlargement

Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!

Google shows the site as not being completely deindexed: site:http://www.ienlarged.com - Google Search.

But Google also shows zero inbound links to the site: link:http://www.ienlarged.com - Google Search

It looks like you just need to build a whole lot of links -- you've jumped in to a very competitive and spammy niche.

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Did the site come to you very cheap? If it did, then surely the former owner was not clean in keeping the site in good books.

Do try to resubmit the site once again to all SE's and build a good network with other similar niche websites.

As suggested by Will, the niche is highly competitive and just having unique content at site would not be enough. You will be required to put in a lot of effort to just get noticed!

Thank you guys for your input. I appreciate it!

I intend to do a lot of hard work with link building and SEO - I was just trying to figure out the reason for absolutely no indexed pages, because if there was damage done beyond repair to the domain name I wouldn't waste my time. I'd just go get a new one and start the site there.

But, your explanation sounds reasonable, Will. I'll give it some time and see where it goes.

    Edit: Great news:

Googlebot has successfully accessed your home page.
Pages from your site are included in Google's index.

Alright, well I'm currently indexed in Google and many other search engines.

Yahoo! is showing me almost 600 backlinks now... every script I use tells me that Google is showing zero. When I log into the Google Webmaster panel I'm seeing: Links (477). What's the deal here?!

Most of the scripts online try to get that data with the link:yourdomain.tld search construct. And in your case that is showing no links.
