Thread: Starting My List

After reading much about importance of mailing lists, I decided to start one. I have not yet started promoting it at all but my plan is,

I have made two small reports ready and I will give away them to my newsletter subscribers(only).

This is my first list and I would love some advice from you. How should I promote it? Any other ways?

I have no established blog right now, so i will be starting a new one too.

You can promote it on your blog mainly and use pop-ups and other ways of making people opt-in.

Tips to build your list:

- Give away a freebie
- Post awesome content on your blog, so people know you newsletter is going to be awesome.

I am planning to give away a report for free, hope that works.

Make sure your landing page looks nice, lists all the benefits and is short and to the point.
