I want to submit my site to yahoo,whether Yahoo will cost my money?I tried google before....Plz guide me about this

Well, I have tried summiting my site to Yahoo but until now, it hasn't been indexed in Yahoo. Google merely indexed it 2 days after I submitted it and asked for a sitemap.

As far as I know, submitting to Yahoo doesn't cost you a single cent unless you are putting it under sponsor results. That's what I know.

i dont know what the matter with yahoo is! but they do act pricey and refuse to index as fast as google, maybe its got to do with the google bots , they are so efficient, msn is good too, i think yahoo indexing is more valued for that particular reason, it take time,i dont think money to yahoo indexing is the answer! you can ask for some seo here!

@ neo, yeah this is where Yahoo loses out on business. People who create their site want to just get it going as soon as they can but yahoo just throws them off track ! at this rate I can't see yahoo surviving for long.

yahoo is losing ground real fast here, some directories like dmoz are reputed ,so was/is yahoo, however , faster google bots are ruling the roost now! its google all the way , and except for resellers, i dont think yahoo indexing does not matter much ,unless 'bing' takes off in big way

i don't think they cost you for submitting your site. It's free.

May I know how long does Yahoo takes time to index your site?
I have submitted my site on Yahoo almost 3 months now, but until now, it haven't been indexed. Do you know why and what seems to be the problem?
