Mike, hubpages is nofollow and making your links dofollow is not easy! Infact Personally I totally avoid hubpages for link building though if you are a marketer and knows some tricks *tags*, you can pull some really good traffic.

Hey, I did give a Tech-FAQ link to Net Builder Hellas for his blog post on browser performance.

Hellas got a link the best way possible -- he earned it by building content worth linking to.

I am thinking of getting links on a wordpress theme, and putting out for download. I would get some good link building this way right?

My only worry with this is that Matt Cutts has specifically targeted this practice, so you would be stepping directly into his gun sites.

Link Building is by far the most time consuming and daunting task related to SEO. It is though a strong trump card for better rankings, thus it’s unavoidable, at least for the foreseeable future. Let’s see some important tips and resources related to link building.

1.Article Marketing: if you submit articles to article directories and warehouses, such as GoArticles, EzineArticles, iSnare or eHow you will have highly ranked websites linking back to you, sending important and qualified visitors interested in your niche.

2.Submit an Article to News Sites, such as WebProNews or Newswire.

8.Publish an RSS feed and update your content regularly; if it’s gripping enough some people will syndicate it and provide links to your website.

9.Participate in forums and boards online. Most of them allow users to have a signature or avatar with links and create a personal profile with the information they want. Try not to advertise without participating. If you contribute to the forum people are most likely to follow the links and visit your website.
