    Hey,

    A few points that i use.

    Keyword in the title.

    About 300 to 400 words in the description including your keyword about 4 times and also the URL of your site if you are promoting a site.

    Build some backlinks, i recommend .EDU's and others to have a mixture.

    Embedd or at least post your video onto as many social media sites as possible

    Use Vagex.com for free views or buy some views to get it started and off you go, though remember keyword research is important!

    Social Media - share the videos on related pages of facebook, tweet about them
    Add Backlinks - The video have a similar ranking method to webpage ranking
