Ask yourself, why should I put up resource intensive, bandwidth hogging videos on my website when I can convey the same message by image or text to my visitors?
But before you answer that, think about this:
Pictures say a thousand words->figuratively.
Videos say a billion->literally!
Videos on your website, are an option not to be discounted as just another ugly way to make your site busy. Accept them as a tool to offer your visitors with an interactive introduction, navigation guideline or another effective method to promote your product or service. People will appreciate you talking to them in person, rather than reading your pompous self reviews by pages and pages of articles. When people see you talking to them via the medium of video, you have a better option of enticing them again and again.
Have you ever tried video marketing? Has it worked?
Credit for this post actually goes to Richael from Domain Marvelous.
I'm actually going to get in on some video marketing here in the next day or so. It's part of an overall strategy I'm implementing. I know that it can be a real traffic booster, so I'll let you know how it goes.
video marketing, i never try it since i have not good facility to make it (i have no good internet access to upload, i have no good cam to record video, etc..).
But i think video marketing is effective way. But still need some strategy since we know there is already many competitor. If you see youtube, mostly video only viewed by some people only
I did tried video marketing and it did notconverted well... yet. I'm planning a plan (literrally !) to do some video promotion, and I managed to gather some nice ideas.
The problem in video marketing is in distributing the video link. I think we can add it on our forum siganture.
Anyway, video should be not too long, i think 1-2 minutes is enough. Just to explain, what is your business, the rest, you can just add site URL as watermark
Funny that you are mentionning this since I had the same problem not long ago. Hopefully, one of my relation was kind enough to share this link with me.

Haha, anyway there is a lot of service offered like this :
10.000 HITS to your VIDEO just for $xx
My question :
Is that 10.000 visitor really traffic or just cheating the stat on streaming site system?
I believe that yes, they actually redirect 10k hits on your video. The problem is that it is worthless traffic and this is categorized as Blackhatting.
ow, it's blackhat. What is the method to drive that traffic? About worthless, is that because the traffic is not targeted?
This traffic is definately not worthless. On Youtube (which I assume you mean by video marketing - uploading a video to youtube with your watermark), if you can get 10,000 hits, you're likely to get more, genuine viewers for a couple of reasons:

Because of those two reasons, genuine traffic will watch your vid, and these visitors will be targetted. Overall, from my experience, investing in these views is a wise decision.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, youtube allow you to buy visits, as long as it's not bots. As long as you're using real people to visit your site, you should be OK :)
