As I know Guest posting is not anything but writing articles and posting them on other blogs. It is a vast way to provide your blog or website exposure! You get the opportunity to publish an article on a popular, high PR blog and in return for your efforts you are usually allowed to link back to your own blog or website.

I'd like to know how some of you actually find relevant blogs or website that allow guest posting/blogging.

Yea true we can send a guest post written according to their guidelines for the blogger who accept guest posts. While writing for other blogs we should consider age of domain and PR of them. Otherwise it is a waste of efforts to write.

While accepting a guest post, we should ensure that the article is unique, niche oriented and quality one. It is better use copyscape to check the post before publish it on our blog. Also there should be a policy in number of maximum outgoing links from the published post.

You are very wrong about the PR part. Guest bloggers with skills have gained great attention using the opportunity to post on high traffic blogs to make a name for themselves.

Guest blogging for PR and other myths' purposes is like two little parasites combining to catch and kill a horse.
